We stumbled upon this authentic Sikkimese café, and it was an absolute delight! From delicious veg and non-veg momos to the fiery, flavour-packed momo achar everything tasted incredibly authentic. Paired with a vibrant ambience and soothing light music, it made for a cozy and memorable dining experience.
Most amazing and authentic momos and thukpa. Nothing beats the cozy outdoorsy yet private cafe that serves steaming hot food on a rainy day!
One of the most authentic and beautifully made momos I have found in Thane. I'd blindly recommend the veg and the chicken momos here. Also be sure to pet the in-house cat Tanki. :)
It is a rare place where the food is being served entirely out of joy and affection, and that's what flows out of every bite and flavour. I haven't yet been to the north-east, but I can say North East has come to us! Thank you, Nandita and Nilesh.
Probably the most authentic Thupka you will get in Thane Majiwada. The owner/cook is from Sikkim and makes homely food by herself. The menu is limited, but the taste is good.
It was a random find for me, which turned out to be an amazing one. The momos and veg falay were authentic and super delicious. Everything was made from scratch and were fresh. You must definitely visit them for good Sikkim cuisine.
Had a great experience here. If you wish to enjoy some good ambience and authentic sikkim taste, do pay a visit. The hosts are super cooperative and friendly. And to add to your mood, there’s a jolly cat as well.
Best momos in Thane, hands down. Norla Cafe has proper Manali café vibes - warm, cozy, and chill. Tried their spicy thukpa, famous jhol momos (worth the wait!), and strawberry lemonade. Everything is made fresh, no frozen stuff, so come with patience. Super budget-friendly and totally recommended.
Lovely food! Lovely people!! If you wanna try authentic momo or thupka it's a must visit in thane.
Enjoyed the jhol (soupy) momos and veg soba thukpa here—both were incredibly fresh with an awesome burst of flavor!
